Woman's airport outfit sparks confusion: 'Not the best choice'

A TikToker has been left questioning her outfit choices after she got some strange looks at an airport in the UK recently.

Sal and her partner Scott were jetting off for a holiday when they began to realise that people were staring at them.

They claim the dirty looks were a result of Sal’s skin-coloured trousers which she paired with a white shirt.

All together the airport outfit gave the impression that she was nude from the waist down.

In a video, which has been viewed more than 200,000 times since it was posted, Scott explained their predicament.

“Not my girlfriend wearing these leggings at the airport and everyone thinking she was naked,” he wrote.

“Probably not the best choice of airport outfit,” he added in the caption.

In the clip, an excited Sal can be seen walking through the terminal and onto the tarmac at Stansted Airport.

But behind the scenes, they said they were getting some odd glares from fellow passengers, and many of the couples’ 27,000 TikTok followers were quick to agree.

“I would definitely have taken a double take,” one person wrote online.

“Omg I thought that!” said another.

Others questioned Sal’s fashion taste.

“I have to ask..why the hell did she even buy those?” a woman asked.

Sal was quick to jump in saying the leggings were from Shein.

“I’m sure they didn’t look like that then,” she laughed.

Others admitted that they’d made the same mistake.

“I have a pair from Alo and my mom in Italy thought I wasn’t wearing pants,” one woman wrote.

But some didn’t see the problem.

“Nah, I’ve seen much worse,” one person wrote. “You can definitely tell she’s wearing leggings.”

Scott jumped in this time, explaining that even the people they were travelling with thought she was in the buff.
