Gwyneth Paltrow Wished Her Daughter a Sweet 16 in the Best Way
Apple Martin may be celebrating her sweet 16 in quarantine, but her mom, Gwyneth Paltrow, is making sure the entire world knows that there's something worth celebrating today. In a new Instagram gallery, Paltrow shared a sweet message and a trio of amazing photos of Apple that make just self-quarantine look very, very good.
The photos show Apple wearing a white floral dress and a simple chain-link choker while lounging on a grey sofa, though the images go from serious to silly pretty quickly. In the final snap from the set, Apple shows off a finger cast, a stark contrast to the more serious photos, which have her showing off everything that comes with having some of Paltrow's DNA, including some pretty amazing expressions worthy of the big screen.
Paltrow's heartfelt caption was just as sweet as Apple's outfit, mentioning her daughter being "wickedly intelligent" and having a "brilliant sense of humor." Paltrow also gave some insight to life in quarantine, mentioning nightly chats, though those heart-to-hearts probably happen whether or not the family's in lockdown.

"I can't believe I’m actually writing these words but... happy sweet sixteen my darling girl. You are the light of my heart, you are pure joy. You are wickedly intelligent and you have the best, most dry, most brilliant sense of humor. I have the best time being your mom. I love our nightly evening chats when I really get to hear what’s on your mind. You work hard to get whatever it is you want to achieve, and you have grit and responsibility in spades," Paltrow wrote.
She continued, saying that she was "lucky" to have the honor of being Apple's mother before mentioning the unique circumstances that come with having a birthday at this particular time. "I am so damn lucky to be your mother, you beautiful, kind young woman. Thank you for choosing me. I adore you to the moon and back a zillion times," she wrote. "I'm sorry you are having this particular birthday during these circumstances, but as always with you, you find the best in everything."

There's no footage of a celebration just yet. Last month, Paltrow celebrated her son Moses's birthday with a drive-by birthday parade that she documented on her Instagram Stories, according to the Daily Mail.
